“No title worth losing your dignity” – Police PRO reacts as Natasha Osawaru adopts 2Face’s surname

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police Public Relations Officer (PRO), SP Josephine Adeh, has issued a strong message urging women to protect their dignity, following Natasha Osawaru’s decision to adopt the surname of Nigerian singer 2Face Idibia.

Natasha, an Edo State lawmaker and the singer’s new lover, sparked attention when she added “Idibia” to her name on Sunday, shortly after 2Face’s estranged wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia, referred to herself by her maiden name.

The decision to take on 2Face’s surname has since drawn attention across social media platforms.

Reacting to the situation, SP Adeh took to her X handle on Sunday evening, warning women not to confuse temporary passion with lasting love.

She emphasized that any man who easily replaces a woman would likely do it again.

SHE WROTE:

‘’A man who easily replaces a woman will do it again. How he treats women is reflection of his character , his children are watching (if any )and so is the world.

“My fellow gender, no title is worth losing your dignity over. If he left her for you, don’t celebrate just yet your turn may come. Protect your heart, finances, and future. Don’t mistake a temporary passion for lasting love. Love is sweet, but wisdom is necessary”.
